\\Jennifer Anderson, ParAmeriCon 2017, Ms. ParAmeriCon

I guess I should start by saying I didn't always hunt spirits or ghosts, but I was always a little different than the rest of the family. When you are the youngest of five and pretty much an only child in a large family because of the age difference, you tend to find things to do on your own.  Me I always had a connection with God, or the great spirit, whatever you call it in your belief, and I have always accepted people for who they are, even the peculiar ones.  In saying that I think the more peculiar you were as a person the more they peeked my interest.  I've always believed in something beyond this place, beyond our physical self but was always plagued with scarey, crazy devil dreams and until about fifteen years ago when I finally wasn't afraid of him in those dreams, I would have never seeked out spirit.  Being different from the "norm" kept me from following my inner self and seeking out answers but I won't deny that the show GhostHunters came on television and showed that it might just be socially acceptable allowing others to know you believe in the beyond, and that is when I decided to pursue what I have pretty much known my whole life.  I found a team that took me in and showed me the technical and ways of investigating, of course I have tweeked some of the ways and continue to find better ways of investigating.  And then I joined LiveParanormal at which I do a bi-weekly podcast and participate in several events and investigations throughout the year.  I continue to learn as much as I can and although Paranormal investigating spirits is my interest, I am also open to all the genre of the paranormal, and in doing so have met some of the smartest, nicest and genuinely great people who inspire me more and more everyday.
